Meet Valerie

WELL Accredited Professional, LEED Green Associates and Certified Interior Redecorator

I founded Viv Spaces in 2017 to help everyone work happier using simple biophilic design solutions.

My credentials include being

  • a WELL Accredited Professional

  • a LEED Green Associate

  • a Certified Interior Redecorator

I was born and raised in Paris, France, and hold a Master in Management, and a Master in International Law in France, and an MBA in America.

Prior to founding Viv, I was in business management where my last position was to manage the facilities budget of the IMF in Washington, DC.

This experience led me to my new passion - improving workplace quality putting occupants first and focusing on natural, human-centered, sustainable solutions.

I live in Washington, D.C. with my husband and am the proud mother of 3 adult boys.

I co-chaired the Design and Well-being committee of the American Institute of Architects of Washington D.C. Chapter in 2020.

"Buildings are where our stories play out every day - where we earn our living, spend time with loved ones, gain inspiration, experience adventure, rest and heal.

We spend about 90 percent of our lives in buildings - the conditions and culture inside of them have significant impacts on our health.

When our surroundings are designed with wellness in mind, people thrive."
